Industry analysts who follow SAP hear from the company all the time, but they wanted to hear from users. They got their wish at the 4th annual SAP Industry Analyst Base Camp last month, when New York-based consultancy Deloitte, Portland, Ore.-based manufacturer Blount International and Santa Clara, Calif.-based semiconductor chip maker Intel took part in a customer panel.
The three discussed what they have accomplished with SAP HANA, SuccessFactors and SAP Mobility. The customer panel was a highpoint of the influencer conference, according to Josh Clark, head of SAP’s High-Tech Business Unit.
“The highlight, which I got the most feedback from, was probably the customer panel,” Clark said. “After the session, I heard a lot of surprise at how much value those companies are getting — and how real those advantages are.”
