Where is the Man of Steel most needed – Using Cloud Lumira with Mobile BI 5
Little known fact: Superman was a Jayhawk fan from the University of Kansas (my school), and this clip from the movie trailer Man of Steel proves it:

A top feature for Cloud BI, according to Howard Dresner in a tweet chat, is ad hoc query. Could we do that in Cloud Lumira? Could it tell us when and where is the Man of Steel needed most to fight crime? This is a DataGenius IV entry.
To see the possibilities, I tried this out using crime statistics from http://hci.stanford.edu/jheer/workshop/data/
I also did this with Lumira on the iPad using Mobile BI (amateur video):
Also using Mobile BI 5.0 you can annoate and e-mail the visualization as shown below:
So why was crime so high in the 1990’s in Superman’s home state of Kansas?

Was Superman too busy working in Metropolis to help his fellow Kansans? Was he too busy on a popular 1990’s TV show to help Kansas? Inquiring minds want to know.

Lastly, as an appendix, I finished a Codagogy class today and received this as a graduation present:
Thanks for this interesting blog. After watching Man of Steel in the cinema this afternoon I was now able to close my weekend by reading this blog.
Best regards,
Bernhard
Did you ever consider that Superman was too busy watching basketball to help his home state due to him being an avid Jayhawks fan? 😈
Take care,
Stephen
