Self-service and mobile are all the rage in BI today. And why wouldn’t they be? There is great data to show that making information more accessible is key to increasing usage and having the information really transform the business. But if these are delivered as silos, outside of a single BI platform, a lot of the business benefit is missed. Aberdeen did a study that shows just that. When organizations deliver a single BI solution that provides a self-service and mobile experience they not only reap the benefits of the increased adoption and usage but also see these successes come sooner and for less money than when delivered with disparate or departmental solutions.
