Custom HCM-PA-IT creation


Step 1:

Go to Transaction PM01

And there provide your 4 digit Custom Infotype Number : i.e. 9333 by Selecting Employee Infotype and PS Structures.

Step 2:

Click on Generate Objects and you will come to below screen. Here create fileds for your Infotype within the structure i.e. PS9333.

Step 3:

Activate the structure without any activation log errors.

Step 4:

Click on Back button and you will find no. of Pupup messages. Click OK for all.

Step 5:

Click on Technical Attributes button on Main screen and check whether your Infotype’s technical attributed maintained properly.

Step 6:

Click on Infotype Characteristic button on main screen. And provide your Infotype Number, Text etc.

Step 7:

Click on Create and provide Characteristics of your Infotype (As per below screen) and Save It & Activate it.

Step 8:

If you have to make any changes in your Infotype Screen then select screen option and provide screen number 2000 and do necessary changes and activate it.

Step 9:

Go to PA30. Provide Emp Number and your Infotype No.

Step 10:

Click on create and Maintain your Infotype data for that employee and Save it.

      Hi Joshi,

      Iam not able to see the screenshots clearly because when i maximise them, i'm loosing the details ( its getting garbled).

      Could you please reattached the screenshots so that i can see the details maintained in the screenshots.

      Anyway thanks for the document.

             Thanks for viewing and commenting. but here, while creating Wiki Doc, we are having limitation of attachment (i.e. Upto certain KB/MB only). Because of this limitation only, I clubbed it together for overall better step-by-step display. Hope it may helpful. 🙂

      Good start but it would be nice if you could list further steps to create PA Infotype with decouple framework which will use shared memory process. This is an old  traditional way to create PA infotype but SAP has integrate decouple framework with PM01 (PA Infotype) & PPCI(PD Infotype) Tcodes.   Cheers, Arpit

      What do you mean by decouple framework? Will you please explain in details or share some relevant links. Thanks in advance.
