SAP Notes Search & Analysis Process Guide:

  1. 1.    Business Scenario:

In certain circumstances, many of our business needs can’t be satisfied through different Enhancement Options available within SAP. (i.e. Business-Adins, Enhancement Packages, User-Exits etc.) In such circumstances, for fulfilling our specific business needs, we have to be purely dependent on SAP, which means our specific needs, either can be satisfied through Implementation of SAP Support Package or through the Implementation of SAP Notes. SAP Support Package is nothing but a bunch of different SAP Notes itself. Each SAP Note is supporting specific business needs. Sometimes, implementing of one SAP Note is dependent on other SAP Note Implementation which means Note: X is pre-requisite for Note: Y and without Implementation of Note: Y, Note: X will not function properly.

In general scenario, SAP basis team is liable for Implementation of SAP Note after proper analysis and review of different functional and technical leads.

  1. 2.    About SAP Notes:

Each SAP Notes consist of specific Numeric Digits/Numbers through which it can be identified and which always remain unique throughout the process.
