Since a lot of customers are now moving to,or already have installed Microsoft Office 2010 and Office 2013,there
is one thing to be aware of when installing SAPGUI packages.
The Calendar Synchronisation for Microsoft Outlook is not compatible with Microsoft Office 2010 or 2013.
In the nwsapsetup.log files, you may see something like this..
NwSapsAtlC 1W Marking package SAPGUI730_Office({B15F1F42-18D2-4A2B-8F7D-C7970268FA73}) as disabled: selected node Outlook Client extension for the synchronisation of SAPoffice calendar with the Outlook calendar. Requires Microsoft Outlook 98 or greater. Not compatible with Microsoft Outlook 2010 ({82A65EF0-F00B-4A4B-9E73-06A8A025E763}) has failing condition.
To resolve this, you willl need to remove this item (shown below) from your package.
If you already have CRM installed, you can implement CRM Groupware Integration.
Any queries on this should be raised in CRM-MW-GWI
As per the SAP Front End Installation Guide 740:
New Version of SAP Calendar Synchronization for Microsoft Outlook. A new version of the SAP Calendar Synchronization for Microsoft Outlook is delivered with SAP GUI 7.40 for Windows. This version can be used with Outlook 2010.
Do anyone have the steps to implement this?
The installation guide page 64 for 7.40 provides this updated information.
You need to install the dependencies VSTO 3.0 and VSTO SP1
