BI4.1 New Feature – Document Upload

In today’s webcast on what is new in BI4.1, one of the new features reviewed was “Document upload”

The steps do this are as follows:

1) Logon to BI Launchpad

2) Select New Local Documents

3) Click Add

4) Then, to replace the file, perform the following steps – select the file to replace:

Then right click, select Organize > Replace File

5) Select the file and then click Replace

6) Confirm the replace

7) The file is replaced.

The main use case is to replace Excel files for BusinessObjects Explorer.
