Standard Symbols

Uses:

  We can use the standard symbols as labels for script or smart forms.

Advantage:

  If we are using script means one label need to be displayed in many languages to achieve this we are using Standard Texts(SO10).

   For example there is two sales order forms for printing sale order text we will create two SO10 texts.

   But if we create this standard symbols it will available for all scripts and smart forms.

   Like SO10 text we can create this single variables in multiple languages.

Creation:

1.Go to SE75 transaction-> Select Standard Symbols Radio Buttons and press change Button.

2.Then create one standard text symbols are follows,

3.For multiple language creation are has follows,

      

Now we can use this has variables in Script,

Syntax:

&SALES_LABEL&

In scripts go to corresponding window where we need to insert ,Go to Insert->Symbols->Standard Symbols this variable will be inserted.
