SAP UA India and SAP Labs HR Recruitment jointly organized the SAP Faculty Day – where professors were invited to interact with Senior SAP professionals. The theme for SAP Faculty Day 2013 was ‘Innovating at the Pace of Changing Customer Expectation.’

The event saw participation of than 130+ professors from the top 40 schools both from SAP Labs Recruitment & SAP University Alliances member schools. The day started with several important keynotes by various speakers such as Anil Warrier, Global Head Early Talent Acquisition on valuable insights into the HR Recruitment plans, challenges and requirements with regard to IT graduates in India and how the professors can help in attracting the right talent to SAP.

Anirban Dey (SAP Labs India MD) spoke about how SAP is not just a 41 year old company rather it should be looked at as a “41 year old startup”. Dr. Jeffrey Word had a very interactive session with the audience on SAP HANA and answered the many questions that the enthusiastic professors asked him.

Ann Rosenberg, Head of Global SAP University Alliances, SAP AG, talked about the new Learn Apply Share Model of SAP University Alliances and shared the latest programs launched under UA such as SAP Student Ambassador, OpenSAP, Big Data – The Human Face of Big Data”, SAP Student Academy, SAP HANA Curriculum and Design Thinking just to name a few.

SAP University Alliances Agreement Signing Ceremony

4 new schools (Chitkara University, ABV-Indian Institute of Technology & Management, MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology & Saveetha University) signed the UA agreement in front of the audience at SAP Faculty Day 14, June 2013.The new schools would offer various SAP courses as part of their curriculum to their students and help create awareness of the new SAP message of Learn, Apply and Share.

Announcement of Four Student Ambassador

Ann Rosenberg, Head of Global SAP University Alliances on SAP Faculty day (14th June 2013) announced the first 4 SAP Student Ambassadors of India – Manas Choudhary, Karthik Nedunchezhian, Richa Rajput and Keerthivivek Muniappan from Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology, Pune.
