Continuing my blogs from this week, I would like to highlight a few of the 40+ customer presentations which are planned at the SAP Manufacturing Industry CVN Forum scheduled for June 25 – 26 in Chicago.  This event is specifically designed to bring together Manufacturing Companies from several industries to explore and discuss how they have approached innovation to their operations.   This two day event mixes sessions on best practices with Customer led sessions focused on individual customer experiences.  These are the sessions scheduled just after the lunch break:

  • The Journey to Improve Manufacturing Efficiency and Visibility at Sauder Woodworking - Pam Vocke, Implementation Services Manager, Sauder Woodworking with partner Neoris
  • Process Manufacturing Implementation in Latin America at Mosaic Company - Ram Narian, Process Consultant, Mosaic Company with partner iGate
  • S&OP at Kraft Foods - John M. Buckley, Director, Integrated Business Planning, Beverage Business Unit, Kraft Foods
  • How Allison Transmission Consolidated Product Development and Enterprise Change Management Using SAP PLM 7.01 and SAP PPM 5.0 - Randall Dunn, IT Business Planning Manager, Allison Transmission with partner Gyansys
  • Jabil Embarks on their PLM Upgrade Journey with SAP PLM - Tara Hillary, Senior IT Manager, Jabil with partner LeverX
  • Managing Customer and Buying Group Rebates, Trade Promotions, Broker Incentives and Royalties at Cargill - Luke Miller, Design Manager, Order & Trade Settlement to Cash, Cargill
  • JBS and Pilgrim’s Journey into PLM Recipe Development - Mike Hamilton, IT ERP Manufacturing Specialist, JBS with partner LeverX

I suggest that anyone who is exploring change in their Manufacturing operations should investigate attending this forum.  Rarely are so many companies in the same place at the same time dedicated and focused on discussing, networking and learning about the latest tools and approaches for innovation in Manufacturing processes.
