Continuing my blogs from this week, I would like to highlight a few of the 40+ customer presentations which are planned at the SAP Manufacturing Industry CVN Forum scheduled for June 25 – 26 in Chicago.  This event is specifically designed to bring together Manufacturing Companies from several industries to explore and discuss how they have approached innovation to their operations.   This two day event mixes sessions on best practices with Customer led sessions focused on individual customer experiences.  These are the sessions scheduled in late-morning:

  • TreeHouse Foods: A Strategic SAP Rollout Continues to the Shop Floor Using SAP MII – Mark Lisinski , Enterprise Applications, TreeHouse Foods, Inc. with partner Dell
  • How 3-D Models are Helping CAT Global Mining Set a New Standard for Technical & Marketing Information – Peter Coffey, Training and Development Technician Conveyor Solutions, Caterpillar Mining Products Division
  • How, Why, and in What Way Kimberly-Clark Health Care Deployed SAP EWM – Angela Woody, Kimberly Clark Corporation with partner Logi-Star
  • Supply Chain Analytics at Nalco – George Sloan, Manager, Global Supply Chain Analytical Team, Nalco, an Ecolab Company
  • Tate & Lyle’s Food Innovation Globalization with SAP PLM Recipe Development – Donna Van Natta, Senior SAP Analyst, Tate & Lyle
  • Experience Implementing SAP EHS Management for Incident and Event Management at MMG –  Michael Yandell, SAP Architect, MMG with partner ERM
  • How Stanley Convergent Security Solutions Leveraged SAP CRM for its Complex Order Entry Process – Nick Jackson, IT Deployment Manager, Stanley Security Solution with partner Gyansys

I suggest that anyone who is exploring change in their Manufacturing operations should investigate attending this forum.  Rarely are so many companies in the same place at the same time dedicated and focused on discussing, networking and learning about the latest tools and approaches for innovation in Manufacturing processes.
