BI4.1 : Going Mobile with Analysis OLAP - Another Way

Previously I wrote Going Mobile Today with BusinessObjects Analysis OLAP you could export Analysis Views to Crystal Reports or Web Intelligence and then use Mobile BI to display your report.

With BI4.1 Analysis OLAP you can go from your Analysis OLAP Workspace, click the "Create Analysis Application" button, and then it will open a Design Studio application.

From there you can go to your iPad to view it or use Mobile BI to view the report.  This was mentioned last March by SAP Mentor ingo.hilgefort at BI 2013 that Design Studio was the path to mobile for Analysis OLAP.

You can also decide which sheets of the Analysis Workspace to select to send to Design Studio.

Now you can see the runtime version of Design Studio:

Notice in the above it automatically brings over the Filter component.

From here, you would follow the normal process of assigning the mobile category to the Design Studio application and then view it on Mobile BI.
