Craig already announced that there will be SAP CodeJam on ABAP in Eclipse in Bielefeld on the 14th of June. See his blog post: http://scn.sap.com/community/events/codejam/blog/2013/05/24/two-firsts-in-the-abap-world–dont-miss-out.
I want to provide more information on what this event is about and what you can expect to get out of it.
About the event
Obviously, the event will follow the SAP CodeJam guidelines (http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-37775) which ensure that it will be highly interactive and allow you to do lots of hands-on experiments with new technologies.
The broad agenda will look like this:
1) Get familiar with the new Eclipse based tools and learn how they can improve your productivity
2) Learn how the newly released SDK allows you to build your own tools on top of our platform
3) We will look at the SAPlink project and learn how they built their plug-in and how it works
This is just the broad agenda which I will adjust based on what you are interested in and want to learn more about.
I have been with SAP since 2007 and started working on the new Eclipse based development tools in 2008. During the last years I spent most of my time building new features and evolving the general architecture of the new tools.
There are still some seats left and participation does not cost anything! Register here: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/6830946545#
Hope to see your there!
