When you try to enable BAdI implementation HRTMC_AUTHORITY_VIEW_DELTA in IMG customizing activity Talent Management and Talent Development > Basic Settings > Search > BAdI: Activate Delta Indexing for Authorization Data the checkbox in the Actve(Impl.) column is greyed out. In this instance the BAdI implementation must be enabled manually.
If the IMG node BAdI: Activate Delta Indexing for Authorization Data does not exist inside the Search node implement SAP note 1423708 or, in transaction SE37, execute the function module ENH_BADI_IMG_IMPLEMENTATION and for the inbound parameter BADI_NAME enter the value BADI_ESH_IF_OBJECT_DATA.
Note: Enabling this BAdI implementation requires a Developer Key and an Object Access Key.
In IMG customizing activity Talent Management and Talent Development > Basic Settings > Search > BAdI: Activate Delta Indexing for Authorization Data highlight the line for BAdI implementation HRTMC_AUTHORITY_VIEW_DELTA and click the Display Implementation button. Alternatively run transaction SE19 enter HRTMC_SEARCH_INDEXING_ESH in the Enhancement Implementation textbox and click Display.
In the screen Enhancement Implementation HRTMC_SEARCH_INDEXING_ESH Display select HRTMC_AUTHORITY_VIEW_DELTA in the list of BAdI Implementations on the left hand side.
Click the Display <-> Change button for press Ctrl + F1 to switch to Change Mode. At this point you may be asked for your Developer Key and/or Object Access Key. If so, enter them and click Continue. No check the checkbox next to Implementation is active and click Save, followed by Activate.
Click back to return to the list of BAdI implementations. Deselect the checkbox in the column Actve(IMG) for BAdI implementation HRTMC_VIEW_AUTHORITY. Now the BAdI implementation is active and you are ready to index TREX!
