During next weeks Realcomm / IBcon event, SAP will be Educational Track Sponsor and Exhibtor.  Realcomm is the defacto conference and community for the comercial real estate industry. And, in recent years, this community has expanded to include a co-located event, called IBcon (Intelligent Building Conference). SAP will have a presence in both of these area, where our Industry experts and leaders have a seat at the table (literally), in two panel discussions. The event is in Orlando on June 12th - 13th.

"IBM, SAP, Siemens, Qualcomm and Corning to Participate in IBcon 2013

IBM, SAP, Siemens, Qualcomm and Corning will be joining an already extraordinary group of industry solution providers at IBcon 2013 in Orlando. IBcon 2013 will be at the epicenter of the Smart, Connected, High Performance, Intelligent Building conversation and should prove to set the benchmark for smart buildings for the next 12 months. "

Bill Ponseti, Global head of the EC&O IBU will participate in  the Commercial Real Estate area:

Back by popular demand, this annual update by the leading real estate application providers is a very efficient and effective way to keep informed about the trends in our market. Despite mergers, acquisitions and consolidations, these companies are the foundation of our industry. In this informative, lively, relevant and timely session, the industry's most senior executives will present their roadmaps and prognostications on what the industry and solutions might look today and in years to come.

Johnny Clemmons, Lead Industry Principal for EC&O will participate in the Smart Building area:

Understanding IT's Role in Energy and Sustainability
Date: 6/12/2013    Time: 1:15PM - 2:15PM    Location: W224G

The topics of Energy and Sustainability have certainly gained relevance over the last few years. While each has specific mandates, there are some overlap; adding ‘smart buildings’ to the mix makes it even more complex. The reality is complex building systems based on sophisticated technologies require an IT component that, when properly planned and executed, can take both energy efficiency and sustainability to a higher level. This session will feature energy and sustainability ideas from experienced executives with a deep understanding of smart building systems and their potential.

And, to add to our presence across the Realcomm community, the CIO of our Commercial Real Estate customer Minto Group is also speaking:

Business and IT Strategy Integration - Achieving Extraordinary Results

Gary McElheron, CIO, The Minto Group

6/12/2013 | 3:30PM - 4:30PM

Everyone knows that any IT strategy without a executive-level driven vision has little chance of long-term success. Complex traditional business models, inherent organizational conflict, varying degrees of automation sophistication throughout an organization and politics can all contribute to compromised results. Creating a productive business platform by effectively merging technology evolution with business strategy is the key. In this session, the audience will hear from leaders who have achieved extraordinary results by guiding business strategy with the capabilities that technology can bring.
