Enterprise Business Functions for Talent Management

To enable Talent Management and Talent Development, including analytics, s number of Enterprise Business Functions must be activated in the Switch Framework (transaction code SFW5). The following are mandatory for all Enhancement Package levels:

For EhP5 and EhP6 the Enterprise Business Function HCM_TMC_CI_2 (Core processes in Talent Management 02) is required. For EhP6 the Enterprise Business Function HCM_TMC_CI_3 (Core processes in Talent Management 03) is also required.


Analytics in Talent Management and Talent Development are available from EhP5 and require activation of Enterprise Business Function HCM_ANALYTICS_1 (HCM, Cross Analytics 1). For EhP6 the Enterprise Business Function HCM_ANALYTICS_2 (HCM, Operational Data Provisioning for Analytics) must be activated.

Concurrent Employment and Qualifications

If you use Concurrent Employment (CE) and have Qualification objects (object type Q) linked to the Central Person object (object type CP) instead of the Person object (object type P) then you must enable the Enterprise Business Function CA_PA_CE_GE_QUALI (CA, Employee Qualifications for Concurrent/Global Employment).
