It may be said that great Social TV means great content – and I’m certain that the reverse is also true: great content produces great Social TV!  We can debate the longevity of Social TV as a medium – given all of the options and devices to consume content at our disposal today – and many have.

As WIRED’s Kastelein states:” The future of brand delivery on TV is certainly anyone’s guess…”. However, when you look to innovative practices taking shape around TV in its many social forms, there is a credible claim to engage like never before via Social TV.  According to Adobe, Viewing video on mobile devices tripled in 2012 – 300% for smartphones, 360% for tablets.  While Accenture reports that 92% of respondents report watching online video in 2012 from 77% in 2011.
