This is a continuation of a series of blogs on compatibility analysis for Web Intelligence BI 4.0 SP5 on SAP Mobile BI version 4.4.18 Build 11. It explains what elements of each menu item in Web Intelligence namely Report Element, Format, Data Access, Analysis and Page Setup are supported on SAP BI Mobile. Following is a brief  summary of the Analysis Tab:

1. Filters
  • Input Controls:
        Input Controls.jpg
Combo box, Radio button, Entry Field, List Box, Multiple Values – check boxes, Multiple Values – list box are supported in SAP BI Mobile. All types of Input Controls are arranged in a pop-up list and can be accessed on demand. There are no explicit check boxes displayed in the iPad when check box input control is selected.
 
2. Data Tracking
    Data tracking is supported for insertions, deletions, measures (increased values), and measures (decreased values).

3. Display
    Break and section both are supported and can also be used in combination. All kinds of sorting like Ascending, Descending, Priority wise and Custom sort are supported.

4. Conditional Formatting

Skin – does not show skin for the entire cell. A small square part of the cell has skin background.

Read content as image – URL

Read content as image – URL shows image in WebI but only the link text in iPad.

  • Filter Bar – simple filter is supported.
  • Outline however is not supported.

Sum, Count, Average, Min, Max and Percentage Note that there are numerous other functions available in the formula editor that have not been evaluated here.
