SAPPHIRE NOW, 2013 is definitely the largest conference I have witnessed so far. 3 days of so much learning and fun at the same time. The trip to Orlando from India and 3 days at SAPPHIRE NOW has definitely been a memorable one and will be highlighted forever.

SAP University Alliance had organised an event called “Design Thinking Jam” on 13th May. I and my team couldn't attend that, as we couldn't make it to Orlando on 12th May due to flight delay. But when I inquired about it from the other team from India, I realized how amazing the event was. In the first part, they were taught what exactly “design thinking” is. Then they were divided into groups and asked to resolve some challenges applying the method previously taught.

Later on, there was another event called “Food for Orphan”. It was a brilliant initiative by SAP University Alliance. 300,000 lakh meals were packed for needy orphans around the world!!

The 3 days of conference was worth attending. I learnt a lot about different technologies behind different products and how everything is managed well. SAP HANA was definitely the highlight at the conference. It has brought huge changes not only to the business aspect of everything but also to the society.

SAP University Alliance has extended its support to the Interactive Design Foundation (IDF) and its “Open Access Round the World Tour”. It is the main sponsor for the Interaction Design Foundation which produces free, top-grade educational materials written by the world's technology elite. I was lucky to meet Max, who has begun a four-year around the world bike and canoe journey as a part of this program.

My team and I are really thankful to SAP University Alliance for providing us this great opportunity to travel all the way from India to attend this program. We were invited to attend this conference by Ann Rosenberg for being the first runners up at the BizTech India, 2012.  We have come back with so much knowledge and learning.
