SAP University Alliances, Interaction-Design Foundation (IDF), and North Carolina A&T State University are pleased to announce the Share the Knowledge Tour will stop at NC A&T on May 31, 2013.

In mid-May in Orlando, IDF’s biker, Max, began a four-year around the world bike and canoe journey. Over the next six months Max will bike and canoe more than 6,000 miles, visiting universities across North America to share his story with professors, students, and local communities. Mile by mile, city by city, university by university Max is promoting open access to quality educational materials. Education is the single most powerful way to lift people out of poverty and change lives, and Max will share this vision at every stop. View this video preview and check out the bike tour website.

Agenda — May 31, 2013:

1:30 pm

Max meets local cycling enthusiasts at the “Greensboro Greenway” and rides to campus.

2:00 pm

Students, professors, and cycling enthusiasts cheer Max’s arrival and see his cutting edge touring technology.

2:30 pm

Max shares his story about his “Around The World” bike journey, sharing knowledge about free innovative learning resources.

3:30 pm

Interviews with Max, networking, and registration for membership in IDF and SAP Jam.
