  • Create one FM with interface shown in attached screen shot
  • Go to symbol in template from CG42 and assign FM to symbol which was created in above step as shown in attached screen shot
  • Test the template. symbol on template always shows value filled in the FM. Put break point in FM and see input/output for your requiremen

    quite tricky approach but helpful 🙂 . Most issues in use of WWI does not come up in the area of “how to collect the data” but how to print it “right”. Most issues are related to SAP standard report symbols. In any case: the approach as shown by you is useful regarding e.g. tricky GLM labels there in many cases no SAP standard report is available and you need to collect “somethere” data to be printed.

    May be you could enlarge your topic and describe which customizing activities are required etc. Could be of interest for community as well. Thanks in advance.
