If so, you need SAP Universal ID. In a few months, SAP Universal ID will be the only option to login to SAP Community. Without it, you will lose your content and badges. If you have multiple accounts, use the Consolidation Tool to merge your content.

Gene sequence data is large, and sequence alignment process requires lot of memory and CPU process, how could SAP handle large dataset of gene sequence and the analyses?

basically Data are pulled into HANA where the column-based storage and the fact that data are held in memory makes the analysis so fast. Check out this presentation:
