On 21 May, 40 male students from Abu Dhabi Men’s College (Higher Colleges of Technology) participated in the third Codejam session in MENA which was held on campus. The Session went till 9pm with the students building their first HANA Model. Some of them work in reputable government organizations including the Oil & Gas sector and showed their deep interest in SAP HANA. They explicitly said that they will request their decision makers at work to reach out to SAP on how to get SAP HANA implemented at their organizations, They saw it as a great value for their businesses.
On 23 May, 41 female students participated in the 4th Codejam event which took place at Madinet Zayed Female College (Higher Colleges of Technology) although 35 students were registered. Again, Students were inspired with the development & revolution of the database technology specially with the tools they used from the HANA studio. Instructors were keen to get access to the HANA Platform and registered for the three months free trial access to be able to teach HANA by the next educational year starting from September 2013.
