Zhejiang University is one of the top Universities in China and the 1st priority talent source for SAP. On April 24th, School of Management, Zhejiang University organized an event for the sophomore to introduce the major of Information Management and Information System. Through this event, sophomore will be able to have a clear insight of this major and decide their specific major for the next two year in the university. Base on a good relationship with Zhejiang University, SAP got a chance to recommend one influencer for this event. With the help from SAP Ecosystem, Dr. Prof. Xu Yunbiao, the CIO from SAP major customer -- Zhejiang Materials Industry Group Corporation accepted the invitation and made presentation to the students. Zhejiang Materials Industry Group Corporation was rated as No. 426 in the Fortune 500 of Year 2012. Dr. Prof. Xu Yunbiao has over 25 years’ experience in IT industry and named top CIO in China of Year 2006. As also a former professor in university in Hangzhou city, he shared a lot of helpful information with the students attended, including industry trends, SAP profile and applications especially SAP HANA and BI, career development and self-experience.
Besides the presentation from Dr. Prof. Xu Yunbiao, the director of IM & IS major introduced the situation of faculties, curricula and cultivation scope in details to the students, total 45 students and 2 faculties attended this event.
