SAPPHIRENOW2013 – Let the show begin…

This year, I will do my best to write down a short blog summarizing my personal ASUG \ SAPPHIRENOW conference highlights. As you can imagine, it will all be about the SAP Portal portfolio offering…

So… today we unofficially kicked off the conference with a pre-conference seminar about Renovating and Refreshing the SAP UI’s with the latest User Productivity Tools, with ~20 customers in the room. We were discussing  the different challenges and solution SAP has to offer in the area of UI: SAP Portal (of course 😉 ), NetWeaver BusinessClient, SAP Screen Personas, Adobe Forms, FPM, SAPUI5, SAP App Designer*, SAP NetWeaver Gateway, and others…

I think SAP has really made significant progress in last decade. Before that all SAP had to offer was classical Dyn Pros 🙂

Today only read about release of NW 7.4 and am really happy that finally SAP is working towards making development and run time environments uniform for all FPM/ HANA/ UI 5.

Looking forward to collaborate virtually !
