Reducing compliance and audit costs – a benchmarked study

How has automation of SoD (Segregation of Duties) risk identification and user access improved compliance efficiencies? How has simulation of potential SoD conflicts reduced audit costs?

Automating SoD (segregation of duties) risk identification and user access provisioning are not just critical components of financial controls but also result in significant cost reduction in audit costs. Benchmarking studies indicate improvement of more than 40% (over the average) when SoD risk identification and remediation is automated in an ERP environment.

Similarly, an improvement of over 30% (over the average) has been noted when user access administration and compliance verification is automated.  Automating simulation capabilities to identify potential SoD conflicts before changes are migrated to production have similarly provided improvements in excess of 33% (over the average).
