How to delete locked objects from Transport requests

Transport request is used for transporting a bunch of objects from one server to another server (like development to quality and to production). With this transport request we can transport more than one newly created objects at a time. We can create these transport requests in t-code ‘SE09’.

While creating these objects, these are locked by default. So if we have created one object and put it in the transport request by mistake, we have to delete that object before transporting the request to any server. But to delete that locked object we have to follow some instructions.

      There are many different ways.

The easiest and more straightforward is to enter SE09 transaction, search your TR (transport request) double clic on it and go to Change Mode. Look for the object you want to delete, select line and clic on the red minus button. Two confirmation messages will appear. Ok both and object will be deleted.

      Hope it helps !
