Six Chinese and eight Indian winning students from the SAP Dashboard Design Competition 2012 Southeast Asia were invited to attend SAPPHIRE Orlando 14-16 May. Four Chinese faculties and one Indian faculty took time off their busy schedule to join us on the trip. Their fantastic trip started from the pre-conference day features on SAP University Alliances (UA) new release and ‘Design Thinking’ workshop which were really amazing and new to them. Throughout the workshop, they got a clearly understanding about how we "Learn", "Share" and "Apply" UA’s mission to inspire and educate the new generation to transfer SAP edging knowledge. Information about UA's various platforms shared. They  also joined a Corporate Social Resposibility (CSR) session that helps everyone to  udnerstand people’s social responsibility and care about surroundings.

SAP offered them a fantastic opportunity to learn about the western world: the culture, way of work, and etc.

Student quotes:

"Everyone in the Orange County Conference Center is enjoying themselves in this ASUG’s “big show”. With more than 600 sessions providing customer best practices and lessons learned, you will find hundreds of exhibitors for SAP software, as well as service and support providers. The innovative products, services, and fresh perspectives offered at SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference can energize your insight growth.

I am more interested into the USER EXPERIMENTS and DESIGN THINKING. The Dreamdatas made by the German university teams show the SAP HANA how to work for humanity. In addition, IDF (interaction design foundation) has a great idea to share the E-book s online and to introduce the “Gamification” concept. The new Dashboard was also powerful."

"It is a great honour for us to attend the SAPPHIRE NOW 2013 in Orlando. During the time, we learned what Design Thinking is. We also attended many SAP Keynote Presentations, which were quite interesting and meaningful. Before the conference, I didn't know what role SAP is playing in the world. Now, I realize that SAP is really helpful and important for many companies.

I appreciate the service of the conference very much. Everything is in perfect order, such as the Registration, the Lunch, the Shuttle bus, etc. Everyone is kind to us. This experience is memorable."
