Early 2013, the SAP University Alliances Program (UAP) called out for SAP volunteers to help educate the UAP community on what SAP is all about and what are the latest trends of solutions & services from core applications to cloud/mobility & HANA. This initiative witnessed a profound collaborative success internally and great impact externally.
- On 12 May, a session was run by steffen.reisacher at the American University of Sharjah where he presented to 120 postgraduate students on SAP Core solutions & HANA implementation from an industry perspective
- Over 300 students, professors and administrators from Dubai Men’s College were given a chance to listen to steffen.reisacher, Market Development Lead, on 16 May, as a keynote speaker at one of the student events run by Dubai Men’s College.
- On 19 May, 20 students & a few professors hosted Sam Taha, Business Development Manager, SAP MENA, at Zayed University to talk about today’s mega technology trends (social, mobile, big data, etc), their impact on organizations in terms of challenges and opportunities, particularly when it comes to Big Data and real-time, and how in-memory computing platforms like SAP HANA can help them manage and take advantage of these trends.
