Supply Chain in Real-Time at SAPPHIRE NOW
SAPPHIRE NOW 2013 starts on Tuesday, and we are very excited about the increased supply chain presence this year. In fact Tuesday the 14th will have a full day of Supply Chain content as part of the new Forum concept being introduced at SAPPHIRE NOW. The Forums provide a great opportunity to focus on supply chain presentations, microforums and demo theaters, all within one area of the event.
Theater Presentations
The main Forum Theater sessions will kick start with a keynote at 11am by Hans Thalbauer, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain, SAP and Greg Spray, Senior Vice President, Solution Management, Ariba. There session will focus on “Transforming Supply Chain and Procurement in the Global Networked Economy “.
The other Supply Chain Highlights in the theater include :
- Colgate Palmolive discussing how to “Reduce Cycle Time with Better Sales and Operations Planning”
- A Panel discussion titled “Take the Road to a Real-Time Supply Chain” that will feature HP, Bonfiglioli and Campbell Soup
- Nestle explaining how they leverage SAP Transportation Management to “Plan and Consolidate Inbound and Outbound Logistics Globally”
- A session on Demand Signal Management and how to “ Generate Sound Demand Plans and Enhance Insight Into Your Customers”
Demo Theater
The forum also provides a great opportunity to see some of the latest and greatest innovations from SAP in the Supply Chain area. Here are some of the scheduled demonstrations:
