This is great.
Should we expect a trial version of this system?
Thanks.
SAP HANA trial versions are available. Please visit www.saphana.com for more details. We also currently analyze how to leverage the Cloud Appliance Library to provision selected SAP NetWeaver 7.4 usage types. Pls stay tuned.
Hi Karl, does that mean we should not expect a traditional SCN ABAP NSP download?
Thanks, Matt
Hi Matt,
I would not deduce that our cloud offerings will replace classical deployment channels.
We just need to make sure to combine the best of both worlds and avoid unnecessary long setup times. I expect some action to happen in this area while we are moving more closely towards TechEd this year.
Regards
Karl
I found this snippet " or a classical SCN trial, you can download from the SAP Community Network (planned for Q4 2013)".
So hopefully it'll take not too long !
I would love to play around with it, even though I just finished my vmware-version of 7.03 SP4.

I always have the same question, whenever I read about a new NetWeaver release:
When will SAP Business Suite especially ERP adopt the NW release, especially AS ABAP?
Hi Stephan,
very valid question. SAP Business Suite on SAP HANA is already available running on AS ABAP 7.4. SAP NetWeaver 7.4 will be consumed by the next enhancement package of the SAP Business Suite covering other database platforms as well. We optimized NetWeaver 7.4 for SAP HANA to best support Suite on HANA and we kept 7.4 compatible to best support the next enhancement package of the Business Suite (in particular for SAP ERP but also for all other Suite products).
Best regards,
Karl
