110 students and 8 professors took part in the second HANA Info Day arranged by Haitham Farouk in collaboration with two other professors from the German University in Cairo.


The day was about the history of SAP, SAP Academic initiatives, University Alliances Program (UAP) offerings to professors and students, basic concepts of in-memory databases and SAP HANA overview. This session comes under the UAP’s effort to help expand the reach of the UAP program to reach out to further academies all across Egypt.

The session was organized by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (ITIDA) in order to increase the awareness of Sadat Academy business school students on the latest SAP technologies. Around 70 students attended the session who were eager to learn about SAP ERP and HANA technology.

The Students Council was one of the topics highlighted and many students saw the value of being part of it and registered.

Many topics were covered during the day such as, the history of SAP,  UAP offerings & academic initiatives made available to professors and students, ERP components and SAP Business Suite, SAP HANA & basic concepts of In-Memory Databases and lastly SAP HANA Academy.
