How to create Ticket in Solman from EP7.3 with EPSolman iView(The old way).

The new NetWeaver Enterprise Portal 7,3 allow the end users to create Tickets in Sap Solution Manager using a new Iview, this iView is using the standard WebDynpro AGS_WORK_INCIDENT_CREATE_APP, but to use this iView, the end user need to have user in Sap Solution Manager to be able to create Tickets (You can use user mapping but the reporter will be always the mapped user).
In this blog, will be check the way to use the old EPSolman iView to create ticket, when we use this iView, the end user don’t need to have access to Sap Solution Manager.

- How-to create the EPSolman iView:
Inside Portal Content Management –> Content Administration –> Portal Content ManagementYou wil find the Portal Applications and there com.sap.portal.epsolman–>EPSolmanCopy the EPSolman iView to your workplaceNow open your custom iView and search for the following propertiesThis allow you to identify the Installation numberWrite the Portal IDHere you can define the name of JCODestinations.xml (the standard is MMC_SOLMAN)With this you can write the Component List, for example COMP1 Test Component 1, COMP2 Test Component 2.
- How to define SAP Solution Manager in Portal
To be able to use the EPSolman iView to create Ticket in SAP Solution Manager, you need to define the JCO Destination,Open the Netweaver Administrator http://xxxx.domain:50000/nwa Open Configuration –>DestinationsCreate a new MMC_SOLMAN Destination type RFC,
- How to use the “Report a Problem” Option
Now you can customize your iView to to use the “Option” button and call the “Report a Problem” directly from your Iview, you need to:
Open your Iview (for this demo is “Get your user name”), and modify the “Report a Problem” Iview path with your own path
Then select the “Show Report a Problem Option” property and activate.
Now if you open your iView, and click in Options–>Report a Problem,
The system will be show you the following screen
Congrats, now you can cerate ticket from Portal
Remember: Run the report AI_SDK_BP_MAINTAIN_EXT_SYS_ID to assign external identifications to the existing business partners. Use the following notation for the report
