Netweaver EP 7.3Solution Manager 7.1

  • Summary:

The new NetWeaver Enterprise Portal 7,3 allow the end users to create Tickets in Sap Solution Manager using a new Iview, this iView is using the standard WebDynpro AGS_WORK_INCIDENT_CREATE_APP, but to use this iView, the end user need to have user in Sap Solution Manager to be able to create Tickets (You can use user mapping but the reporter will be always the mapped user).

In this blog, will be check the way to use the old EPSolman iView to create ticket, when we use this iView, the end user don't need to have access to Sap Solution Manager.

  • How to define SAP Solution Manager in Portal

To be able to use the EPSolman iView to create Ticket in SAP Solution Manager, you need to define the JCO Destination,Open the Netweaver Administrator http://xxxx.domain:50000/nwa05-NWA.png Open Configuration -->Destinations06-Destination.pngCreate a new MMC_SOLMAN Destination type RFC,07-MMC_SOLMAN.png 

  • How to use the "Report a Problem" Option

Now you can customize your iView to to use the "Option" button and call the "Report a Problem" directly from your Iview, you need to:

Open your Iview (for this demo is "Get your user name"), and modify the "Report a Problem" Iview path with your own path

Then select the "Show Report a Problem Option" property and activate.2.png

Now if you open your iView, and click in Options-->Report a Problem,

The system will be show you  the following screen

Congrats, now you can cerate ticket from Portal


Remember: Run the report AI_SDK_BP_MAINTAIN_EXT_SYS_ID to assign external identifications to the existing business partners. Use the following notation for the report
