Former NBA players Gary Payton and Avery Johnson will be on hand along with SAPPHIRE NOW attendees to help pack meals for orphans on May 13.

We are looking for 1,000 volunteers to join SAP and the National Basketball Association in the "Food for Orphans" project on Monday, May 13. We are looking  for your help by just donating 30-minutes of your time to  help us pack a truckload of food that will go to orphan children around the world. You need to register so that we can coordinate the staffing. Volunteers will receive a bracelet of appreciation. Click this link to sign up.

NBA Legends
Payton, who is one of the greatest point guards of his generation, a nine-time All-Star, NBA Defensive Player of the Year, two-time gold medalist and the face of Seattle Sonics basketball. He has an NBA championship as well (Miami 2006). He was recently named to the NBA Hall of Fame. 

Avery Johnson  former head coach of the Dallas Mavericks and Brooklyn Nets. He led the Mavericks to their first NBA Finals appearance and four consecutive 50+ win seasons. As a player, Johnson was known for his leadership skills as a point guard.

By helping out on Monday, May 13, you can be part of an larger effort to make a difference in the lives of children around the world. The numbers say it all. An estimated 60 million orphan children go to bed hungry around the world.
