Could some of these sessions contain the clues that are mentioned in Nic Smith blog

I don’t know but I am curious.  Which is why you want to add the sessions below to you agenda.  The sessions listed below were selected by ASUG Volunteers, providing customer-driven education at ASUG Annual Conference.  Not to be missed:

# Title Date Start Time
506 Super Charged iPad Exploration on SAP NetWeaver BW 15/05/2013 12:30 p.m.
309 SAP HANA Data Discovery – Beta Release & Beyond with Native In-Memory BI Suite on SAP HANA – Overview, Key Innovations, and Roadmap 15/05/2013 04:15 p.m.

The Super Charged iPad Exploration session is by customer JMC Steel.

The SAP Hana Data Discovery session is with popular speaker Ashish Morzaria – this is the session to learn the latest SAP innovations regarding data discovery.  Part of the abstract reads “Come to this session to see how SAP’s new native HANA Business Intelligence tools work together to enable new capabilities such as data discovery, advanced analysis capabilities, mobile and Web application design, and predictive analytics. This session will cover an overview of the product portfolio, beta feedback from products about to become generally available, user experience insights, and the future road map that is shaping how native SAP HANA implementations of business intelligence will evolve.”

Self Service BI with Visual Intelligence and Business Explorer is being presented by SAP’s Mani Srinivasan.  The last session is the ASUG Influence Council for the Self-Service area which includes Visual Intelligence and BusinessObjects Explorer.

You don’t have to wait until ASUG Annual Conference to hear the latest on Visual Intelligence.  SAP’s Stephanie Redivo has set up a Visual Intelligence Roadmap session on May 7th  – register here.
