More than 200 supply chain managers and executives from leading global chemical companies this year gathered at LogiChem Europe under the motto "Commercially driven Supply Chains". In a 2 hour workshop SAP presented its latest innovations in Supply Chain planning and execution, primarily focusing on Sales & Operations Planning on HANA, Transportation Management, Global Batch Traceability and Supply Chain Performance Management. Overall 45 customers (e.g. Bayer, SABIC, Huntsman, Monsanto, Clariant, Borouge, Milliken) attended the workshop. The feedback was very positive. Many were not
aware of the new SAP solutions and expressed their appreciation of SAP’s innovative power. Plenty of follow up sessions or workshops have been scheduled
to give customers deeper insights.
