As you all are aware, the PLM Web UI or PLM 7.0x is delivered with light weight PLM objects/applications yet with convincing functionalities for the discrete industries. Though the initial releases could not deliver complete PLM objects, however, after 7.02 release SAP almost provides wide set of objects.
The most important aspect of this blog is the usage or integration of these objects in our custom applications. This way you will have seamless integration with SAP standard solutions. We can integrate most of the dependent objects that are delivered till now and also the lead objects can be linked from your application
Some of the dependent objects like below can be integrated.
- Material Preview
- BOM Preview
- Document DO
- Classification
- Applications like Process Route can be integrated or can be customized.
Also I could recently make use of (integrate) the standard advanced search application into a custom application and fetch the results.

In this screen-shot above, the classification has been integrated to a custom object, it also supports multiple updates to the data base simultaneously.
Above screen-shot illustrates the Document DO integration with a Standard object, however the UI is custom developed.
