Deactivated asset class is displayed in F4 help of field 'ANLA-ANLKL' in AS01

Symptom

• Deactivated asset class is displayed in F4 help of field ‘ANLA-ANLKL’
• AA290 issued when you selected a deactivated asset class from F4 help of field ‘Asset Class' (ANLA-ANLKL) in T-Code: AS01

Reproducing the Issue

1. T-Code: AM05 to deactivate asset class XXXX
2. Create new derived area YY which is based on real area 01 and real area ZZ (area ZZ is not activated yet in asset class XXXX)
3. Go to T-Code: OAYZ and activate area ZZ in asset class XXXX
4. In table ANKB, field 'XSPEB' is not flagged for area YY
5. Asset class XXXX is displayed in F4 help of field ‘Asset Class’ (ANLA-ANLKL) when we create new asset via T-Code: AS01

Cause

For deactivated asset class, all areas shall have flag on field ‘XSPEB’. Otherwise, the asset class will be displayed in F4 help of field ‘Asset Class’ (ANLA-ANLKL).

Resolution

1. Use T-Code: AM05 to remove lock flag in field ‘ANKB_XSPEB’ for asset class XXXX once and save the change
2. Deactivate asset class XXXX again by flagging field ‘ANKB_XSPEB’ via T-Code: AM05 and save the change
