Since August last year SAP has been collaborating with customers via the Customer Advisory Forum and through official SAP User Groups. Not only are we been designing and preparing to build a new Support Portal, but also modifying and improving the current Support Portal.
Today we are happy to inform you about the launch of the new and improved information pages about SAP’s support offerings in the SAP Support Portal.
The new pages have an improved look and feel and now consistently show all information around our main support offerings. Furthermore the navigation was simplified so customers have easier access to the details about SAP’s different support options.
Highlight is the all-new SAP Enterprise Support landing page (login required) which is now reflecting the 4 key elements of SAP Enterprise Support:
- Support Collaboration
- Empowerment (SAP Enterprise Support Academy)
- Automation (SAP Solution Manager)
First customer feedback was very positive about the new design and confirms that this is the right point in time for the change.
Just below you can see as an example the new SAP Enterprise Support landing page:
Let us know how you like it. We will continue to improve the pages in the course of this year.

Call for action:
We would like to draw your attention to a task that is open until May 2nd. We are asking our customers, to continue helping us to design a portal that fits your needs. We would like your participation in evaluating proposed navigation changes on the SAP Support Portal.
Please take a look at the post here which includes a link to the task: http://scn.sap.com/community/software-support-and-maintenance/blog/2013/04/03/got-10-minutes-to-spare
The task takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and would help us validate future decisions and designs. We will also be launching our annual SAP Support Portal survey in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned for information.
