HDB upgrade

Step to upgrade the HDB

1.Go to

/usr/sap/<SID>/HDB02/

2. give command : HDB version

HDB version info:

  version:             1.00.23.356745

  branch:              HANA_WS_COR

  git hash:            not set

  git merge time:      not set

  compile date:        2011-12-15 16:43:06

  compile type:        opt

it will show you current version of your HANA system.

3.Now go to s/w directory and run the ./hdbupd command  with root user

You will get the screen as below

It will provide the list of SID of present HANA system.

You need to provide <sid>adm password  and it will start the upgrade

4.Once you upgrade done you can check this with HDB version command with <SID>adm user
