STEPS TO FOLLOW TO DELETE INDIVIDUAL OBJECTS FROM A SUBREQUEST

Purpose: In SAP BW we come across a situation that whenever we collect objects in a transport request some objects get collected which are not required to be migrated. Instead of deleting the whole subrequest containing those objects which are not necessary we can delete individual objects inside the subrequest.

PROCEDURE: We have a scenario that we want to delete the below object under that subrequest

Step 1: Put the cursor on the object to be deleted and select the delete option:

Step 2: The following screen will appear executing step 1.

Just need to select the continue button.

Step 3: The following screen will appear

Step 4: Select Yes option to get the object finally deleted

Here we can see that the object got finally deleted and thereby we can delete any object from a subrequest without unlocking from SE03 and then coming back to delete.
