Best SAP Portal Implementations of the World – Call for Proposal

Dear Portal Community!

… are you interested in award-winning portal user interface designs & guidelines? Would you like to share the lessons learned from your portal implementation project? Do you like to showcase your portal at SAP TechEd? Then this blog is for you!

Whenever I attend an SAP event or SAP user group conference the agenda highlights that excite me most are the customer showcases. Because these presentations surface the true innovation power of our portal customers who apply latest design thinking and usability concepts to greatly serve their clients around the world.

Around the globe we have thousands of innovative, creative customers who successfully provide their employees, partners and customers an intuitive, central access point to business relevant information and services via SAP NetWeaver Portal.

Flexible customization of the look & feel (e.g. theming, branding) combined with powerful tools for content management, collaboration and search allow you to create truly professional, state-of-the-art corporate web sites. And with latest enhancements of the “Cloud Portal“, “Mobile Portal” and HTML5 (SAP UI5) support you can quickly take the user experience to the next level.

To get an impression check out examples from the recent #nwportalstars 2012 challenge such as DeutscheTelekom, City of Burnaby, Sotric by btexx, Tobias Hofmann, FIT Consulting and E-Plus Group and further customer testimonials at
