NXG “goes live” with SAP BPC at Vale Mining

Headquartered in Brazil, Vale is the second largest mining company in the world. Active on five continents in 38 countries, they employ more than 128,000 people worldwide. Vale’s global coal headquarters are based in Brisbane and across Australia they employ more than 1,300 people. With 10,000km2 of tenements and a range of projects in the pipeline, they have big plans for growth  in Australia and are committed to becoming one of the nation’s top four coal producers by 2021.

In late 2011 Vale Australia chose NXG Business Solutions for their approach and more than 20 years expertise to implement the first phase of their comprehensive financial performance management transformation project in SAP Business Planning and  Consolidation (BPC). SAP BPC “went live” in March 2012 and is currently being rolled out across the business. Hailed as a success by all parties several more projects in SAP BPC are already on the drawing board.
