Can I only enable ROS in SUS? What about EBP?
Hi Lin, did you get an answer to this question?
Not yet.
Do you know some details ?
Regards,
Lin
Using ROS in an EBP client is not recommended by SAP. It should be deployed in a separate client to EBP. It does not necessarily mean you need to deploy SUS as well, you can use ROS without SUS, but you should configure it in a different client, than your EBP client.
very nice presentation sushant!!
Is there any specific config for attaching supplier certificate while ROS registration process?
Any help is appreciated
Hi, could you please share default logon configuration for UWS_FORM_PUBLIC service? I need to know wich roles did you assign to this user.
thank you !!
Would you be able to point me in the right direction for setting up ROS within an ECC scenario (no SRM or SUS)? We don't need any data exchanged with ECC via XI. I'm just looking to stand up the supplier qualification functionality as a standalone application. My organization currently doesn't own SRM license and it has not been installed in our system. We are on ECC 6 EHP 6.0
You won't be able to use ROS in this scenario. ROS is part of the SRM code base, so you need at least one SRM system to deploy ROS. You should however consider implementing the Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLC) product of SAP, which can be used as an addon to ECC, has the same features as ROS and much much more.
Standalone version of SLM seems to be exactly what we need. Would you happen to know if there is alternative to using the (optional) Netweaver Portal, for example is NWBC supported?
Thanks, Vlad
Yes it is supported.
