MAIN SWITCH unable to delete sapstartsrv.exe: Access Denied

Error:

While in Execution Process, I encountered error unabloe to delete file q:\usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGS01\exe\sapstartsrv.exe

Solution:

Check and correct the rights and access of sidadm and SAPServiceSID. Otherwise, error may not be related to access issue.

Note that at this time, your SAP system is offline. Go to your browser, SUM screen, stop the update, Update –> Stop Update.

Stop SAP services, sapSID_n1 and sapSID_n2. Then, restart the Central Instance server.

When CI server is back online, verify if the sapSID_n1 and sapSID_n2 are also back online.

Start SUM, continue your upgrade.
