Call for Presentations
SAP Software in Teaching

18th SAP Academic Conference EMEA

SAP enterprise software is applied in many technical and business related courses as example of know how cast into software and provides easier access for theoretical delivered content and concepts in a demonstrative way.

Considering this background it is only comprehensible that business software (e. g. ERP) gains increasing attention as object of exploration and demonstration in university studies and research. Even though the transfer of operational knowledge of business software is not one of the major tasks of universities, complex concepts such as data-, process- and service integration can often only be illustrated with concrete examples of use. In order to enable the use of business software for teaching with least effort, specific operational concepts as well as usage concepts for educational purposes are required.

At the 18th SAP Academic Conference EMEA 2013 the SAP University Alliances Program offers you the chance to present your individual usage concepts of SAP software in teaching, including a time slot (15 minutes) for presentation and discussion. The special focus of this call is on contributions that are characterized by innovative ideas and high transferability of concepts.

Submissions are encouraged dealing with any aspect of teaching SAP software (such as SAP ERP, SAP BW, SAP CRM, SAP Business ByDesign, SAP HANA, SAP Mobile, etc.). Submitted presentations should be related with one or more of the main themes proposed for the conference:

  • New curricula for the teaching with SAP software
  • New learning methods in the SAP context: e.g. Podcasting, Web Based Training (WBT), Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC), Mobile/ Ubiquitous SAP learning
  • Evaluation of SAP-based courses aiming at international comparability and acceptance
  • International cooperation
  • Localization of SAP curricula
  • Adaption of SAP curricula for specific target groups (e. g. different degree programs, undergraduate or graduate courses)
  • Challenges with the multilingual formation of SAP teaching
  • Modularization of SAP courses for the flexible course combination
  • Results of SAP based teaching projects

We kindly invite authors to submit interesting presentations for the topics mentioned above. Because of the international character of this Academic Conference please understand that we can only accept presentations composed in English.
