Enterprise Mobility in Construction

A colleague recently sent me this Wall Street Journal article on the rising popularity of enterprise mobility, including some examples in the construction industry.  The article mentions the frustration that developers have writing apps for multiple devices, but doesn’t talk about write-once, run-anywhere solutions that SAP and others offer.  Any company deploying mobile applications to their workforce also needs to make sure that their data is secure, cannot be accessed by unauthorized users, and can be deleted from the device if it is lost or stolen.
