Support Package 04 for SAP TDMS 4.0 (DMIS 2011 and DMIS_CNT 2011) is released and is accessible in the Software Download Center on SAP Service Marketplace (http://service.sap.com/swdc).

This support package include many corrections and enhancements. To begin with, enhancements have been done to improve the user experience with the new WebUI like

ü  Personalized Home Page(Control center) with the latest packages and projects are easily accessible. The search feature enables you to look for your package or project

ü  Compatibility with Netweaver Business Client(NWBC) 3.5 and 4.0. You can use NWBC for a better user experience.

ü  Some of the activities with SAP GUIs converted to WebUI to discard the toggling between these 2 modes of UI

ü  Smaller usability enhancements included in some troubleshooters and UI activities

TDMS Home Page

Some other general enhancements include enablement of Copy Package functionality. You can create (I) One to One Copy Package to copy all the configurations and can change them as per the requirements in the new copied package (II) Refresh Package to copy and retain the same settings as the source package.

The creation of the project, subproject and package is completely disabled from SAP GUI transaction. WebUI should be used for creating, editing, executing and monitoring of the packages.

One of highly desired features for restarting the file based transfer is available with this SP. This should address the pain point of starting a new package if some issue occurs during the TDMS file based transfer execution.

In the scrambling topic, it is now possible to copy a rule.  If you are using a custom code in your scrambling rule then you can validate this code in the process tree  now before you proceed further with the execution. The system documentation has been enhanced and a new how-to-guide is available in the service marketplace.

In BPL, there are few enhancements in the SAP standard content. It is possible now to re-execute the BPL file import package. In the user interface front, the  mapping the foreign key UI is simplified and the selection parameters can only be specified at execution plan step level.

Hope this information helps.
