SAP University Alliances India is making its next stop at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh Campus, to spread the knowledge of SAP HANA and other SAP technologies. This event is special because we will showcase some demos to the students such as the iPad app on McLaren F1 on SAP HANA, SAP Visual Intelligence/ Predictive Analysis and the next generation Explorer on SAP HANA. There would be a speaker session to address a large group of students where we will make presentations on SAP, SAP HANA and SAP University Alliances. This should go a long way to make the students realize how “Cool” SAP as a company is. The students can also spend time talking to the UA team at the UA booth that would be set up at the venue and also show/ demo some featured SAP products  and videos. We will plan fun activities at the event – such as on the spot quizzes and the students can be assured that they
will win lots of SAP goodies.

I must also mention that Chitkara University was founded in 1998 and is located in an around the beautiful city of Chandigarh. There are 2 campuses – one in Chandigarh and the other one is in Himachal Pradesh (which has breath taking scenery). I am not only excited to interact to the students but also to visit this beautiful part of India once again – but for business this time!!

C-Champ is a coding competition which is being organized by the university and many students from different institutions are expected to
participate. Along with cash prizes of INR 25000, INR 15000 and INR 10000 the students would also get certificates of participation. It is interesting to
note that the competition is similar to SAP CodeJam and Innojam but the coding session is for 5 hours only compared to the marathon coding sessions at CodeJam and InnoJam.

Stay tuned for updates – pictures on Facebook and Twitter!!
