SAP Information Steward Installation Pre requisites
SAP Information Steward being a product from SAP EIM (Enterprise Information Mangement) product suite requires some specific stpes to follow
We need to install below three in order –
1. 1. Information Platform Services 4.0 / BI Platform
2. SAP BO Data Service 4.0
3. 3. SAP BO Information Steward 4.0
1 SAP Information Steward web application must be installed on the same web application server as that of the SAP BO Business Intelligence platform
- SAP IS service account should be present in administrator group of the system (Computer)
- First data base should be installed ( Once done It will make the database connection ready)
- Then we should have Information platform services should be install (Item example: ~~SBOP_INFO_PLAT_SVCS_40_WIN64 ~~). we Shall run InstallIPS.exe file in it after that.
- Once this is done we need to install SAP Data Services (Item example : ~~SBOP_DS_40_SP2_WIN64~~)
- Once this is done we need to install SAP Information Services (Item example: ~~ S_40_SP02_WIN64~~)
7. Pre-check – Requirements before installation
- .NET 3.5 Installed
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (x64)
- Service Account Administrator Privileges
- SAP Service account for Connections created for
SAP Information Steward uses SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence platform (formerly known as SAP Business Objects Enterprise) and SAP Business Objects Data Services and inherits the scalable architecture that these two platforms provide
